Hey, everyone! I'm not sure how many of you guys remember me and how many of you are still on this website. I believe I've been mostly absent since around 2017, so there's a lot to catch up on. And I don't know if I'm actually back. But I have some free time right now, and I'll talk more about that, so I just decided to check out the website and write a quick update.
I've been busy, but doing pretty well. I recently got my Canadian Permanent Residency, which was my main goal for the past few years, so yay! Now I can focus my full attention on achieving my career goals.
I started to work as a freelance writer recently, writing fiction stories for a few clients. It's fun but I still have to keep my fulltime job. And I do want to continue working as a visual artist, so I want to translate my fiction writing experience into a visual format and produce graphic novels. Aside from that I'm also planning to start a YouTube channel, where I will talk about practical spirituality, because I'm very tired of spirituality being a fringe, esoteric concept for most people. Although meditation is much more mainstream than it was just a couple of decades ago, there are a lot of things, like manifestation techniques, positive affirmations, Qi Gong, and many other practices that the general public would greatly benefit from if they were demystified and popularized. The only thing stopping me is my rigid comfort zone that I'm having a lot of trouble overcoming. But I'll get there!
The reason why I have extra time right now is because I was hit by a car and broke my foot. I'm at the end of my recovery. It doesn't really hurt anymore, but I still have to use crutches for a few more weeks, which is really annoying. I'm still glad that I got away with only a broken foot, considering the fact that I shattered the car's windshield with my body and flew through the air for several meters. Of course, I had a bunch of bruises and even some stitches, but everything is healed now, except for the foot, and I'm really grateful and frankly surprised that I didn't sustain more damage.
I've got a new toy - a galaxy flip 360 laptop with a stylus. It's by far the best digital art hardware that I've ever used. I don't draw often, but I'll make sure to upload anything I draw here, as well as to my instagram.
Anyways, hope everyone is doing great. Have a great day!
